PENIS ENLARGEMENT AND THICKENING SURGERY (PHALLOPLASTY)
Many patients seek to have their penis enlarged and/or thickened for aesthetic or self-esteem reasons, in the same way that many women perform breast and gluteal prosthetic surgery, among others.
The penis enlargement operation consists of increasing the size of the member between 2 and 5 cm, with a combination of techniques that will allow us to reach that goal. Among these techniques is found the total or partial section of the suspensory ligament, scrotoplasty and liposculpture of the pubis. The increase in length depends on the patient’s anatomy, but the average results are 2 to 5 cm of increase. There is no method to predict the result of penis enlargement that will be obtained before operating on patients. The success of the surgery depends of the discipline of the patient to follow the instructions after surgery, in order to guarantee maximum results. The procedure is accompanied by liposculpture of the pubic area, which will also help to give the penis greater projection.
The surgical technique for thickening the penis consists of performing a liposuction of the pubis and/or lower abdomen, after which the extracted fat is prepared, in order to reduce fat reabsorption by less than 35%; Subsequently, this fat is injected throughout the length and circumference of the penis, with the aim of achieving between 2 and 3 cm of increase in circumference.
In 95% of cases, patients decide to perform both (lengthening and thickening), but it is also possible to perform only one.
What anesthesia is used?
This surgery is usually performed under regional anesthesia (lower abdomen and lower extremities).
Should I stay hospitalized?
Hospital stay is 24 to 48 hours
How long do I have to stay at rest?
Rest time is 10 to 14 days, starting on the day of the surgery.
